And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped. Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia. (Re 14:14–20)

Read the scripture again, slowly, pausing to let the words sink deeply into your mind and heart.
*Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.
And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia.* (Re 14:14–20)
Ruminate on this Word. There are but 2 destinies for every person on earth. Each of us will be gathered into 1 of the 2 harvests: the harvest of salvation or the harvest of wrath. It is with this knowledge that we are call called to persevere and overcome the trials of this age.
How does this apply to your life right now.
As His living Word flows, give your attention to it.
Without overspiritualizing, what does God seem to be saying to you?
Respond.
Talk to God about your inward movements:
Respond from your heart to what God is saying.
Ask and listen for more of what He’s saying.
Linger quietly, patiently in His Presence.
Await His living Words.
As He speaks, yield fully to him. If you notice resistance, rebellion, defiance, or trepidation in your heart, repent of these things and yield your heart without reservation to Him. Ask for His help.
Entrust your past, present, and future to the Lord in light of what he has spoken.
Conclude your time at this well with thanksgiving and adoration.
Thank God for what He has given you here.
Use the worship song on the right if you like, or any other song and approach that best brings your heart of adoration before the Lord on this topic.
Pour out your adoration for our most holy, worthy God.
